Tarangire Safari Lodge is located inside Tarangire National Park. The park gate opens at 6.30 am, and closes at 6.30pm. Entry and exit outside these times is not possible. Vehicles are not allowed to drive inside the park after dark. It is important that you plan your schedule accordingly.

The Lodge is only 10km from the park gate, and is served by a well maintained dirt road. It is possible to reach the lodge in a saloon car, all year round. However to fully explore the park we advise you use a reliable 4WD, especially during the wet season. Vehicles are charged to enter the park.

It is wise to fill up with fuel before you enter the park. The nearest fuel station is at Makuyuni 30 km from the park gate, in the direction of Arusha.
